Hi Susie – thanks so much, have not yet tried the gingerbread pancakes. I did try the cornmeal with coconut which came highly recommended. It was not my favorite, it was an unusual combination. Th kitchen is coming along, waiting on some cabinets that have been reordered twice now….it will come. All good things come to those who wait. (right? 🙂 ) Just ordered a sign for the kitchen this morning: “Gratitude turns what we have into enough…” Have a great week my friend. xo

And yes, the kitchen is coming!!! I love it so far. There have been a few glitches along the way. Right now we are waiting on a set of cabinets that has come in wrong twice. Hopefully we can get all finished by Easter, but if not, oh well. There are so many crazy things going on in the world, kitchen cabinets are truly at the bottom of the list. I am SO excited to hear you got a KitchenAid. You will love it. Which color? I actually just sold mine on Craig’s List this past weekend It was white and I’d had it since the 90’s. So I sold it to a guy as a graduation gift for his daughter who is graduating from high school and going to culinary school in the fall. So he was thrilled to get it for her. And I am getting a brand new one with twice the power in the mail this week! Hee hee. Feeling very spoiled. Truly I am not one who buys much, but it has all come together with this kitchen remodel and I figure I might as well go ahead and do things right the first time. I got the Professional 600 in Liquid Graphite. I think it will be a nice contrast with the white subway tile. Can’t wait to hear what you make first. My most popular baking recipe on here is the Brick Street Chocolate Cake, that might be a fun one to make.
