I made this for my family as a side to a Christmas Ham & scalloped potatoes. It was the hit of the meal with everyone vying for the last few chunks. And since we’re all watching our weight, I make it with less olive oil and sugar free maple syrup. It was still so delicious everyone raved about it; I imagine with real Vermont maple syrup it would be over the top!

In reply to <a href="https://www.throughherlookingglass.com/maple-glazed-roasted-butternut-squash/#comment-9308">Carina</a>.

look in the freezer section you should find some with all the other frozen fruits and veggies.
or you could ask a store employee if they have it.
but the easiest way to find out if it is sold at a store near you... just do a google search ex. 'precut butternut squash near me'.
(just be sure you click on the 'shooping' tab after you hit search.)
lol and i do realize that i am replying to a comment that is from many years ago. i just wanted to help just in case you hadn't found it yet. Happy Holidays! <3

I doubt you are behind the times around there Carina! (I mean, you have a Peace Pole in the park!) The pre-peeled stuff is super convenient though. I have flexor tendonitis in my right hand and I have to be super careful to not set it off. This recipe is so easy and I hope you and your family love it too. Even your son! Have a wonderful week my friend! XO

That looks so good! I love butternut squash, but my son is not a big fan. Maybe this recipe will convert him! (Fingers crossed!) Actually, I haven't noticed bags of pre-peeled and cut butternut squash around here. Hmmm, Seems we are behind the times - Lol. Well, I do hope it's an idea that catches on - very convenient. Have a lovely weekend, Allie!

This could become my favorite veggie side dish as well. I bake pumpkin or squash all the time, but never added maple syrup to it, it sounds delicious, I will definitely try it next time.
