Hi Kathy, thank you SO much. We loved doing it and it’s so fun to bake here now. The lemon blueberry pound cake was the first real cake I made for the blog since the kitchen was finished. It’s such a pleasant place to be and I love working here at the table with the birds in sight. Cheap therapy. lol. Awww….thank you SO much Christy! I had so much fun doing this. Such a different feel in the kitchen now. It is amazing the transformation – just such a pleasant place to be. I do hope to share a cup or forkful of something yummy in this kitchen with you one day. I just popped a lemon blueberry pound cake in the oven, my latest culinary experiment. If it comes out well, you’ll see it here soon… I loved watching Jenn’s remodel too, she did a great job. Perfect. I love her drinks fridge and the hammered copper range hood. A showstopper. Back to this remodel – I really loved the countertop too. At first right after they installed them, I wondered if I went too light, but then as we added the turquoise accents it seemed to work well. Jon was lobbying for a little darker countertop initially, but he likes it now too, so yay! Have a beautiful day, I’m so glad you dropped by. xo
