Dear Shash – I think the more kids you have the stealthier you get. It’s all in knowing their precise location at the stashing moment. Ha ha. I think my Haagen-Dazs stash took place when two were already in bed and two were glued to a sports event on TV, maybe even the NBA playoffs. Timing is everything. Giggle. Well now they are mine too Miss Christy. I had never tasted one. Until I “had” to take a bite out of one for that picture above. I’ve got a hard job don’t I? Taking bites out of Haagen-Dazs bars. Hee hee. I was so glad I had two boys on hand willing to finish them off. Otherwise I don’t think I could have resisted the temptation! XO

Thank you Carina, and wasn’t it you who told me that you make your own Dulce de leche sauce? Sounds decadent. Have you ever boiled sweetened condensed milk (in the sealed can) for a few hours to make caramel? I’ve done it before, but not for a long time. I bet your son would enjoy that science experiment. And if not, surely he would enjoy the result! I did have a good long weekend, was up at my cousin’s wedding in Wisconsin. It was so beautiful, the wedding itself and the reunion with my extended family, many of whom I have not seen for a long time.
