In reply to Karen Espalin. Thanks Karen, Aunt Pinkie is a gem. And we are lucky to have her in our family. When I talk about Aunt Pinkie's cooking, I always say she cooks in vats! Excellent food and always plenty of it!!! I am certain you and Aunt Pinkie would get along great!

Happy to know that you changed the wreath on your door. Love bagel chips like anything, but I’ve never thought of making my own bagel chips. Thanks to you, now I can make my own crisp bagel chips. Wow, a crowd of 40 PLUS for Thanksgiving??! So that means no one will notice if Boy and I go ahead and invite ourselves to your festivities, right?! 😉 Hahahaha. Thank you for saying you changed the wreath on your front door!! Totally just reminded me I need to take down our summer one and swap it out for the fall one. (Side note – my mother in law makes our wreaths… and I don’t know why, but I feel like you would just LOVE her.) Annnyways, I loooooooove bagels any which way I can get ’em, but I especially love bagel chips (dipped in cream cheese for the win) and these look AWESOME, Allie!! Cinnamon raisin bagels are the jam, so I can’t wait to make these chips! I’ll be snackin’ on these 24/7!! SO GOOD! Cheers, lovely! xoxo

What nice memories you’ve shared here. From all your stories, Aunt Pinkie sounds like such an awesome person! I’ve never tried bagel chips, but I love cinnamon buns, and I love crunch (toast of any kind!), so there is no way I could go wrong with these (unless I forgot them in the oven, of course?). I guess it is probably too long of a drive to invite myself to your next Thanksgiving at Aunt Pinkies. It sure sounds wonderful.

Going to have to get some cinnamon raisin bagels the next time I head into town.

Dear Allie, I used to love this breakfast loaf that was almost like a dessert too. It was raisin bread with a thick, almost streusel like brown sugar topping. It’s such a rare treat to have but these mini crisps just remind me of that. I love this idea and I know my family would love it too. I’m still dreaming about that raspberry cheesecake…oh how gorgeous it is! I wish I had a lice for dessert this evening. Have a beautiful day dear…enjoy the early fall season. xo, Catherine
