Yup, you're right. Essential. And that's what I'm learning too, friend. Hope things warm up for you down there. It is still pretty cold here and now it's snowing, which may mean a school delay or cancellation tomorrow. The weird thing is it is supposedly going to be 48° by tomorrow night (Tuesday). I'll believe it when I see it on the thermometer. Have a super week, Cheyanne! XO

Great thoughts, Karen, thank you. And a good reminder that we don't always have to explain every detail of why we can't do something. Sometimes we just have plans or are busy. Taking a nap! HA. I took a three hour nap on Sunday and it was fabulous. xo

In reply to <a href="https://www.throughherlookingglass.com/say-no-to-say-yes/#comment-6625">Carina</a>.

Thank you so much for the kind words Carina, and sure hope we get to meet in person one day. We have so much in common I think. I agree it's all about balance. It's not that I want to pounce and say no when asked, it's just that I'm learning I have physical limits and realizing when they are at capacity. I think you are right, we will always be adjusting as our lives change. Hope you enjoy the book, it really gave me a lot to think about and it was a fairly easy read. xo

Hi Kathryn, thanks for this insight, that's exactly what I want to do. Do it all and be there for everyone and everything. And it's just not humanly possible. Glad I'm not alone in these thoughts. Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's weekend. It was a frigid weekend here in NH and now (Monday night) we are getting snow...looks like a school delay or cancellation in the morning. Which I love. :)

Dear Daniella, I hope you know I was thinking of you as I wrote this post. I miss every thing you mentioned and I know it is only for a season. But so many good times and simple pleasures we thoroughly enjoyed that I miss. Glad we have the wonderful memories for now. So much love, and hugs and kisses to you my friend.
