Hey – I hope you enjoy this yummmy ice cream and Happy New Year, Laura! The weight would be 14 ounces for the candy canes. Be sure to make it ahead so you can freeze if you want hard, scoop-able ice cream -it will take 6-8 hours to harden in the freezer. I haven’t made this in a while and now I’m thinking I might make it for New Year’s too. My kids love it so much. Enjoy. 🙂
