The thing about it is…you are refreshingly unafraid to re – tell the stories most of us would shove in the back recesses of our memory and/or tell only to our mothers or hubbies , but they are so relatable! Although I must admit that somehow in the re telling, your wild tales become sort of legendary and heroic. I find myself cheering for your ability to rise above rather than throw in the towel. Thanks for keeping us entertained with your TRUE tall tales!!

Your Murphy’s Law made me laugh out loud – thankfully Friday the 13th doesn’t come around too often! But Allie, somehow you manage to exhibit grace under fire, no matter the situation you rise to the occasion and put that delightful smile and go on!!!! Wow–now that’s a Murphy’s Law day! Trust me, you handle these situations with so much grace. I may not have had my dress on backwards one Sunday long ago when Julia was a newborn, but when I got home, I looked in the mirror (fine time for that) and discovered I could see my nursing pads through my pale pink dress (ugh).

It is just like you to be able to see the humor in all of this. I can relate to the little brown fingers, for that is what happened to Jenny a few weeks ago. Landon, her younger child, doesn’t like a dirty diaper so he attempted to get the mess off his body. I laughed when she told me about it; it struck me funny probably because it wasn’t happening to me, and I remember just such moments when I was dealing with young children. What a Friday! Hoping there are no repeats. Also hoping you have plenty of lime-flavored Coke in the event you do.
