I used 6 ounces of peas and 6 ounces of snow peas that I cooked briefly in the microwave. Otherwise I followed the recipe. This is a nice and easy little salad that went well with our leftover lasagna when we didn’t have any of our regular salad ingredients in the house.

Honey Child I do declare that this black-eyed pea salad is a true southern delicacy. The real Karen this recipe looks great for these hot summer days and would be perfect for a picnic or a barbecue. Nice job on your very fresh looking back at peace salad!

I made this salad and absolutely love it! I used a yogurt based ranch dressing instead of the Italian dressing. So good and definitely a taste of spring. On a side note I am making the Brick Street Cake today for my husbands birthday this weekend- will let you know how it turns out!

This looks so good! I know you used organic frozen, but I love eating fresh peas out of the pod…I might have to wait till the growing season starts. One pod for me, one pod for salad…lol. Pinning…I definitely want to try this!
