Made this for Christmas eve lunch which happened to fall on a Sunday this year. So easy to put in the crockpot before church and come home to a scrumptious aroma. It looked lovely with mashed potatoes and peas on my holly and berry plates.

Thanks for sharing this recipe. It has become a family favorite.

I needed something to make for dinner for my siblings that was easy and delicious, (okay, I did want to show off a little). I made this and it was superb! It I even did the potatoes like you suggested. Rave reviews. I added green beans and applesauce and it was just great. Festive looking too! My friend, you should write a cookbook!

Thanks friend, where there’s a will there’s a way, right? Ha. The new oven was installed last night at 5:30. It’s been here a little over 24 hours and I still haven’t used it… maybe tomorrow. Can’t wait to break it in. XO
