In your original comment, And why aren’t real mice this cute? (If you think they are, then you’re in good company with the reptiles!). Pet mice are cute and mice are not reptiles but mammals. Yes, I have dealt with field and forest mice in my house. The cat catches them, I get rid of them. No problem.

In reply to Susan Giordano. Thank you m'aam! I was really happy with how these little rodents turned out, and all the options that make them nearly guilt free. That cherries pic. was one of my favorites for this post, so thank you. It was a fun shot to catch! Charlie helped me dipping the cherries. Hope you and Caroline enjoy making these. The "ears" are what really give them them personality, we tried to find matching shaped almond slices.
