Oh Allie - Happy 4 year blogiversary!!! That hubby of yours is so sweet - what a lovely card - and Tulips and peonies are pretty darn magical - eh?!
And, speaking of magical - so are these milk chocolate covered maraschino cherries! I love the idea of soaking the cherries in some booze first too! These look so much better than those store bought ones. My only complaint is darn - how do I put the brakes on popping one after the other of these into my piehole?!
Hoping you are ready for Christmas and you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and holiday break! Stay warm, sweet friend! xoxo

4 years ago feels like yesterday and an eternity. I well remember those walks, your listening ear, problem solving and encouraging words. Thankful for your friendship and knowing I can always count on you. And now to think you're on your own farm complete with barn and lovely ladies in your amazing chicken coop... wonderful to see both our dreams realized. You are one of God's greatest gifts in my life. xo

Happy blog anniversary, I had my 4th anniversary in September as well and completely forgot it... I've just realized it now while reading your post... :) My husband didn't remeber it either, he is mega supportive when it comes to the blog, but he's terrible when it comes to remember special dates. Two years ago, on my daughter 5th birthday we were supposed to be on holiday in England and had tickets to a Harry Potter studios there, tickets which he bought himself. nonetheless he also bought some festival tickets for himself and a friend on the same day, so three dates in one day in two different countries... He was lucky he was able to sell the festival tickets to another friend. :) The cherries look so beautiful, I have never had anything like it, but I know I would like them. :)

Happy, Happy 4th anniversary! I truly believe the world is a much better place with people like you in it to inspire, inform and teach more than even your wonderful recipes that you so kindly share with everyone. Talk about "me,too" moments. Many of your posts sure hit home with me and I don't know what it was that made me start reading all your posts but I feel so fortunate to have found them.
OK so now you are going on about these beautiful(and shall I say, my favourite sweet) maraschino cherries. I am going to look them up on Amazon ASAP, because I too don't care for polluting my body with harmful things, and after that I will hope to make these beautiful chocolate cherries. Did I mention that they are my favourite? Give me a Cherry Blossom bar and you have one happy person! I also remember reading somewhere that this chocolate coating is great for making hard shell ice cream creations with coconut oil.
We are enjoying a wonderful extended fall here and I hope snow is holding off in your wonderful part of the world, too. I am seeing the news at times and looks like west Canada is snow laden already.
Have a great weekend Allie! Many more years of lovely posts from you too!
