Yay – a four-waffle-making maker makes for one merry Christmas! And wow – Your waffles are fantastic! Lil Shashi and I have been eating waffles like some people drink water and I’ve been on the lookout for healthier ones to try – especially LOVE that you used honey in these – they look so fluffy – I cannot wait to whip up some of these over the next few weekends! I’m not a morning person either but if I knew your waffles would be on the table, I’s set the alarm. Until a year ago, my husband and I lived in New Hampshire. A good hardy breakfast was a great way to start the day in the winter.

Dear Allie, we’re the same way. I love starting off the weekends with a big breakfast. Since I don’t have a waffle maker I usually make pancakes, but these look so beautiful. The golden color and I see they have such a perfect texture to them. A wonderful start to the first weekend of 2017. xoxo, Catherine

While these look fantastic, I’m hoping to “cheat” this upcoming sleepy Saturday and use Stonewall pancake waffle mix I recently acquired! Will carefully stir with an accompanying beautiful blue spatula–perhaps even showering with some Stonewall blueberry jam and fresh whipped cream to top it all off! Yum! One step down, possibly, from this great looking homemade version…thanks for the inspiration, too! Sq
